EB-1A: Extraordinary ability
For individuals with extraordinary ability in sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. Applicants can self-petition and do not need a job offer.
EB-1B: Outstanding professors and researchers
For professors and researchers with international recognition in their field. Requires a qualifying job offer and employer petition.
EB-1C: Multinational managers and executives
For qualifying managers and executives who have been employed by a related overseas company and are transferring to a U.S. affiliate, parent, subsidiary, or branch.
