Eligibility overview
Applicants need at least two years of full-time (or equivalent) paid work experience in a skilled trade within the last five years. The occupation must fall in NOC TEER 2 or 3 in eligible trade categories.
Job offer or certificate
Applicants must have either a qualifying full-time job offer from up to two employers in Canada, or a Canadian provincial or territorial certificate of qualification in a qualifying trade.
Language requirements
Minimum CLB 5 in speaking and listening, CLB 4 in reading and writing. Valid test results from a designated language testing organization are required.
